Philip and the Year of Nine

The youngest bean on this particular branch of the Warton vine, Philip, turned 9 yesterday! We threw a little party for him with special guest Katie - whose parents tried to make it seem as if we were baby-sitting! :)

We all had a good time and he got some pretty awesome gifts. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Steve gave an RC Lego car which was a huge hit, he had it put together within 30 minutes and almost forgot to open his other present in his drive to get it finished. ;-)

The cake! Too bad Mr. Moron behind the camera didn't realize he was shooting the writing upside down, which is why you're getting a headache from trying to correct the perspective. LOL.
